Professor Chen Xiang from California Lutheran University

2009年1月6日，美国路德大学哲学系主任陈向教授在华南师范大学公共管理学院211讲学厅作了题为“全球暖化与认知过程”的学术讲座。陈向教授对美国麻省理工大学的最新实验结果进行了哲学反思。他指出，在对全球暖化问题的认识中，应该把气候系统作为一个过程来理解，强调积累性，并对过程的根本特征进行深入的本体论探讨。

Professor Chen Xiang from Department of Philosophy, California Lutheran University, made a speech on "Global Warming and the Cognitive Process” on January 6^th, 2009, at Lecture Hall 211 in the School of Public Administration, South China Normal University. Professor Chen reflected upon the recent experimental results by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, pointing out that in the understanding of global warming, we should regard the climate system as a process and emphasize accumulation. In the meanwhile, he explored ontologically the fundamental characteristics of process.
