一．研究院简介

Brief Introduction of the Institute

华南师范大学地处改革开放的前沿——美丽的广州市，是省部共建的211工程国家重点建设大学之一，2015年起进入广东省高水平大学整体建设高校行列，2017年进入国家一流大学和一流学科建设行列。

South China Normal University is located in the forefront of reform and opening up -- the beautiful Guangzhou city. It is one of the national key universities constructed under the "project 211", and is co-sponsored by Guangdong Province and National Education Ministry. Since 2015, it has been listed in the overall construction project of high-level universities in Guangdong Province, and is listed in the construction projects of national first-class universities and of national first-class disciplines since 2017.

华南师范大学科学技术与社会研究院是在华南师大科学技术哲学学科的基础上组建成立的校级教学研究机构，拥有科学技术哲学硕士、博士学位授予权、科学与技术教育硕士专业学位授予权以及哲学一级学科博士后流动站。科学技术哲学学科是广东省优势重点学科，始建于1960年代初，1979年成为改革开放后我国第一批硕士学位授予单位，2000年获得科学技术哲学学科博士学位授予权。

The Institute for Science, Technology and Society of South China Normal University is a school-level teaching and research institution set up on the basis of the discipline of philosophy of science and technology of South China normal University. It can grant master degrees and doctoral degrees in philosophy of science and technology, and can grant master degrees in science and technology education. In the institute, there is also a first-level discipline post-doc mobile station of philosophy which offers post-doc positions. The discipline of the philosophy of science and technology at SCNU, founded in the early 1960s, is a key discipline with superiority in Guangdong Province. In 1979, it became one of the first batch of master's degree-granting units in China after the reform and opening up. In 2000, it obtained the right to grant doctoral degrees in philosophy of science and technology.

目前，科学技术与社会研究院具有科学技术哲学学科硕士—博士—博士后完整的人才培养体系，拥有广东省人文社科重点研究基地“系统科学与系统管理研究中心”,同时还设有以下研究中心和决策咨询机构：

1、华南师范大学粤港澳大湾区科技创新与绿色发展研究中心；

2、华南师范大学民办教育与公共政策系统管理研究中心；

3、科学技术革命与人类未来研究中心；

4、基础教育素质发展评价研究中心。

At present, the Institute for Science, Technology and Society has a complete talent training system including degree trainings of masters, doctors, and postdoc trainings in philosophy of science and technology. The Institute also has a key research base of humanities and social sciences in Guangdong Province: "Research Center for system Science and system Management". At the same time, it also has the following research centers and decision-making consulting institutions:

1. Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Scientific and Technological Innovation and Green Development Research Center of South China normal University;

2. Research Center of Non-Government Funded Education and Public Policy Systems Management in South China Normal University;

3. Science and Technology Revolution and Human Future Research Center;

4. Research Center of Quality Development Evaluation of Basic Education.

科学技术哲学学科专任教师中，有二级教授 2 人，副教授 4 人，讲师 2 人，特聘研究员 2 人，特聘副研究员 5 人，博士后 3 人（其中外籍博士后1 人）。教师主要来自中国科学院、中国人民大学、北京师范大学、中山大学、香港中文大学、美国匹兹堡大学、澳大利亚昆士兰大学等国内外著名高校。专任教师中，有国家“万人计划”哲学社会科学领军人才、中宣部文化名家暨“四个一批”人才工程入选者、享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家、“新世纪百千万人才工程”国家级人选、“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”入选者，多位教师担任中国自然辩证法研究会常务理事以及多个专业委员负责人。

In the full-time faculties of philosophy of science and technology, there are 2 second-level professors, 4 associate professors, 2 lecturers, 2 specially appointed researchers, 5 specially appointed associate researchers and 3 post doctors (including 1 foreign post doctor ).Faculties worked previously as faculties or doctoral students in the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Renmin University of China, Beijing Normal University, Sun Yat-sen University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, University of Pittsburgh, University of Queensland in Australia and other famous domestic or international universities. Among the full-time faculties, there are leading talents in philosophy and social sciences selected in  the national "Ten Thousand Talents Program", the Central Publicity Department Cultural Experts selected in the "Four Batchs" talent projects, experts receiving special subsidies from the State Council, national candidates for the "Ten Million Talents Project in the New Century", candidates for the "New Century Outstanding Talent Support Program", and a number of faculties serving as executive directors of the China Dialectics of Nature Research Association and responsible persons of several professional members.

科学技术哲学学科团队致力于基础理论研究和跨学科综合型创新人才培养、在学术研究的特色化与国际化等方面取得重要成就。现有 5 个研究方向：

The team of philosophy of science and technology team is committed to basic theoretical research and the cultivation of interdisciplinary and comprehensive innovative talents, and has made important achievements in the specialization and internationalization of academic research. There are five research directions:

1. Philosophy of systems science and systems management

2. Philosophy of science and philosophy of technology

3. Science and technology innovation and green development

4. Ethics and decision-making of science and technology

5. Philosophy of Ecology and sustainable development 

近 5 年以来，本学科教师共承担国家社会科学基金重大项目、重点项目、一般项目共 8 项，教育部项目 6 项，省级项目 12 项，出版“系统科学与系统管理研究丛书”（人民出版社）等学术专著 13 部，在《中国社会科学》等国内重要学术期刊（含 CSSCI）发表论文 160 多篇，发表 SSCI 收录源期刊论文多篇，获得教育部、广东省优秀成果奖多项。

Over the past five years, faculties in our discipline have undertaken 8 projects of the National Social Science Fund including major projects, key projects and general projects, 6 projects of the Ministry of Education, 12 provincial projects, published 13 academic monographs such as the "Systems Science and Systems Management Research Series" (People’s Publishing House), published more than 160 papers in important domestic academic journals such as China Social Science (including CSSCI), and many papers in SSCI journals, and won many awards from the Ministry of Education and Guangdong Province.

研究院注重国际学术交流，与国际系统研究联合会、美国弗吉尼亚大学、英国赫尔大学等国外著名学术机构建立了良好的学术关系,聘请多位外籍专家为本学科客座教授。

The Institute emphasizes international academic communication, and has established good academic relationships with famous international academic institutions such as the International Systems Research Association, the University of Virginia, and the University of Hull, and has hired a number of foreign experts as visiting professors.

Outstanding Talent

（1）申请条件：原则上年龄不超过 55 周岁。拥有良好的学术声誉和学术领导能力，已取得国际同行公认的标志性成果，近五年科研成果丰富，来校后能担任本学科带头人。如长江学者特聘教授、国家杰出青年基金获得者或学术水平与之相当者。

Requirements: Candidates, preferably under 55 years old, should have great academic reputation and leadership. He/She is expected to have achieved internationally recognized landmark research achievements and have had abundant research achievements in recent 5 years. Candidates can assume the leading role in the field of his/her research and can be qualified to be listed in national top talents or scientific research programs such as Changjiang Scholars Program, China National Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.

（2）引进待遇：入编，聘为教授，提供有竞争力的年薪和房补，按实际需要提供科研启动经费，帮助组建团队，子女可按规定申请入读华南师范大学附属幼儿园、小学和中学（附属学校在全国名列前茅）。

Rewards: Candidates can be recruited as professor. SCNU will provide competitive annual salary and housing allowance. Research start-up fund will be provided according to actual needs. Requirements: Candidates, preferably under 50 years old, are expected to have great academic leadership and have achieved nationally recognized landmark achievement and have abundant research achievements in recent 5 years. Candidates can assume the leading role in his/her discipline or field of research.

（2）引进待遇：入编，聘为教授，提供有竞争力的年薪和购房补贴，按实际需要提供科研启动经费，帮助组建团队，子女可按规定申请入读华南师范大学附属幼儿园、小学和中学（附属学校在全国名列前茅）。

Rewards: Candidates can be recruited as professor. SCNU will provide competitive annual salary and housing allowance. Research start-up fund will be provided according to actual needs. 3.青年拔尖人才

（1）申请条件：原则上年龄不超过 40 周岁，在知名大学取得博士学位，在本领域已取得原创性科研成果且具有较大的发展潜力。

Requirements: Candidates, preferably under 40 years old, are expected to have gained his/her doctoral degree in well-known universities, have achieved original scientific research results and have great potential for development.

（2）引进待遇：入编，聘正高或副高级专业技术职务；年薪 30-60 万元；房补最高 200 万；按学科基础和实际需要提供科研启动经费，上不封顶；子女可按规定申请入读华南师范大学附属幼儿园、小学和中学，附属学校在全国名列前茅。

Rewards: Candidates can be recruited as professor, associate professor or position of equivalent level. The candidate will be rewarded with an annual pre-tax salary of 300,000-600,000 RMB. Housing Allowance of up to 2 million RMB will be provided. Research start-up fund will be provided without a cap according to research fields and actual needs. His or her children can apply to study in the affiliated kindergarten, primary school and middle school of SCNU according to relevant regulations. 4.青年英才

Young Talent

（1）申请条件：

一类青年英才：38 周岁以下，在中国科学院、中国社科院、排名不低于我校的国内高校、所在学科不低于我校同学科排名的高校或世界排名前 300 位（国际公认的四大全球大学排行榜：ARWU、QS、THE、US News，下同）高校或科研机构获得博士研究生学历学位或从事博士后研究工作；境内申请者一般应具有博士后工作和主持省部级科研项目或层次相当的纵横向科研项目经历。

二类青年英才：35 周岁以下，近三年在中国科学院、中国社科院、排名不低于我校的国内高校、所在学科不低于我校同学科排名的高校或世界排名前 500 位高校或科研机构获得博士研究生学历学位。

Requirements:

First-category Young Talent: Candidates, preferably under 38, are expected to have gained his/her doctorate degree from or have done postdoctoral research in such universities or institutions as Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, domestic universities ranked no lower than SCNU in comprehensive competitiveness or in relevant fields or the top 300 universities in the world (internationally recognized four global university rankings: ARWU, QS, THE, US News, the same hereinafter). Domestic candidates are expected to have done postdoctoral work and have presided over provincial and ministerial research projects or research projects of equivalent value.

Second-category Young Talent: Candidates, preferably under 35, are expected to have gained his/her doctorate degree in recent three years from such universities or institutions as Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, domestic universities ranked no lower than SCNU in comprehensive competitiveness or in relevant fields or the top 500 universities in the world.

（2）引进待遇：一类聘特聘研究员，二类聘特聘副研究员；起点年薪一类 25 万元、二类 20 万元；聘期内依托我校以项目负责人身份申获以下科研项目可提高年薪标准，从报到当月补齐：获国家基金青年项目年薪增至 30 万元，获国家基金面上项目年薪增至 35 万元；首聘期科研启动经费理工科不超过 20 万元、其他学科不超过 10 万元；聘期内提供租房补贴每月 3000 元；子女可按规定申请入读华南师范大学附属幼儿园和小学，附属学校在全国名列前茅。

Rewards：First-category talent will be recruited as Special Senior Research Fellow and second-category talent as Special Associate Research Fellow. For first-category talent, the starting salary is 250,000RMB and for second-category talent 200,000 RMB. During the tenure, the annual salary will be raised and the difference in salary will be compensated from the date of employment if relying on resources of SCNU, the candidate, as the project leader, can successfully apply for the following scientific research projects: for a project supported by National Foundation for Young Scholars, the salary will be raised to 300,000 RMB, and for a project supported by National Foundation for General Programs, the salary will be raised to 350,000 RMB. Research start-up fund of up to 200,000 RMB will be provided to the candidates recruited for the first time in the fields of science and engineering and research start-up fund of up to 100,000 RMB for candidates from other disciplines. Monthly rental allowance of 3000 RMB will be provided during the tenure. His or her children can apply to study in the affiliated kindergarten and primary school of SCNU according to relevant regulations. Both the kindergarten and the primary school are among the best in China.

Postdoctors

（1）申请条件：

一类博士后：35 周岁以下，在中国科学院、中国社科院、排名不低于我校的国内高校、所在学科不低于我校同学科排名的高校或世界排名前 500 位高校或科研机构获得博士研究生学历学位不超过 3 年的博士，或通过博士学位论文答辩的应届博士。

二类博士后：35 周岁以下，获得博士研究生学历学位不超过 3 年的博士，或通过博士学位论文答辩的应届博士。 

Requirements:

First-category Postdoctor: Candidates, preferably under 35, are expected to have gained his/her doctorate degree in recent 3 years or have passed oral defense of dissertation in current school year in such universities or institutions as Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, domestic universities ranked no lower than SCNU in comprehensive competitiveness or in relevant fields or the top 500 universities in the world.

Second-category Postdoctor: Candidates, preferably under 35, are expected to have gained his/her doctorate degree in recent 3 years or have passed oral defense of dissertation in current school year.

（2）引进待遇：一类聘特聘副研究员，二类聘特聘助理研究员；起点年薪一类 22 万元、二类 20 万元，含国家或广东省资助博士后经费 15 万元；聘期内依托我校以项目负责人身份申获以下科研项目可提高年薪标准，从进站当月补齐：获博士后科学基金项目年薪增至 25 万元，获国家基金青年项目年薪增至 30 万元，获国家基金面上项目年薪增至 35 万元；可按规定租住博士后公寓，如无法安排博士后公寓或自行解决住房，学校提供租房补贴每月 3000 元；子女可按规定申请入读华南师范大学附属幼儿园和小学，附属学校在全国名列前茅。

Rewards：First-category postdoctor will be recruited as Special Associate Research Fellow and second-category postdoctor as Special Assistant Research Fellow. For first-category postdoctor, the annual starting salary is 220,000RMB and for second-category postdoctor 200,000 RMB (postdoctoral fund of 150,000 RMB supported by the state or Guangdong province included). During the tenure, the annual salary will be raised and the difference in salary will be compensated from the date of employment if relying on resources of SCNU, the candidate, as the project leader, can successfully apply for the following scientific research projects: for a project supported by National Science Foundation for Postdoctoral Research, the salary will be raised to 250,000 RMB, for a project supported by National Foundation for Young Scholars, the salary will be raised to 300,000 RMB, for a project supported by National Foundation for General Programs, the salary will be raised to 350,000 RMB. Postdoctoral apartments can be rented according to the regulations. If the postdoctoral apartments cannot be arranged or the candidate can resolve his/her own housing issue, the university will provide the candidate with a monthly rental allowance of 3,000 RMB. His or her children can apply to study in the affiliated kindergarten and primary school of SCNU according to relevant regulations. Both the kindergarten and the primary school are among the best in China.
