Professor Chen Fan from Northeastern University

2015年12月13日，中国自然辩证法研究会副理事长，技术哲学专业委员会理事长，科技与社会（STS）专业委员会理事长，东北大学哲学系主任、博士生导师，教育部“985工程”科技与社会（STS）哲学社会科学创新基地首席教授，陈凡博士，在我院举行了题为“技术哲学的前沿与发展”的学术演讲。陈凡教授主要研究方向是技术哲学、科技与社会（STS）、马克思主义与科学技术发展，是我国技术哲学领域的资深研究者，在技术哲学方面颇有建树。

Professor Chen Fan delivered a speech entitled “The Frontier and Development of Philosophy of Technology” at Lecture Hall in the School of Public Administration on December 13^th, 2015. Professor Chen serves as Deputy Director of Chinese Society for Dialectics of Nature, Director of Association for Philosophy of Technology, Director of Association for Science, Technology and Society (STS), Director of Department of Philosophy at Northeastern University, Doctoral Tutor, Chief Professor of the Ministry of Education "985 Project”—STS Philosophy and Social Science Innovation Base. His main research interests include Philosophy of Technology, STS, Marxism and Science-Technology Development. He is a senior researcher and has made significant contributions to the field of philosophy of technology.
